We are looking to recruit an Associate Solicitor with a minimum of 5 years PQE specialising in Commercial Property/Corporate Law to join our long established and well-respected Commercial Team based in Nuneaton.
The ideal candidate will have experience in transactional work; acquisitions and disposals of commercial property and residential development sites with experience of business leases and lease renewals, mergers, business sales, shareholders agreements, project development and associated planning agreements and options.
The successful candidate will join a busy, friendly team of one Head of Department, one qualified lawyer, one experienced property executive and three legal assistants/secretaries.

Commercial Property Solicitor - Senior Associate/Partner Level
We have an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and experienced solicitor at Senior Associate/Partner level specialising in Commercial Property/Corporate Law to join our long established and well-respected Commercial Team based in Nuneaton.
The role comes as part of succession planning therefore the position provides an excellent career progression opportunity within the firm which includes being earmarked as the future Head of Department (within 12 months) and the possibility of joining the Partnership.
As a senior member of the Commercial Property/Corporate Team you will be responsible for a varied but high quality caseload, including building strong working relationships with our larger commercial clients. Typically your case load would consist of:-
- acquisitions and disposals of commercial property
- grants of leases and lease renewals,
- mergers, business sales, shareholders agreements,
- project development and associated planning agreements and options.
The ideal candidate must be an enthusiastic team player, demonstrate leadership qualities and be willing to supervise more junior members of the team. Private Client Legal Secretary – Maternity Cover
We are looking to recruit an experienced Legal Secretary to provide maternity leave cover (minimum of 9 months commencing November 2021) in our Wills and Probate department at our head office in Nuneaton.
Responsibilities will include audio typing, dealing with telephone enquiries, organising and maintaining filing systems, diary management and general administration duties.
The ideal candidate must have experience working in a Private Client department (Wills and Probate), possess excellent typing skills and work in an organised and efficient manner. They will need to be proficient in the use of MS Word, Outlook, Digital Dictation and have experience working with a Case Management System.
This is a full-time position working 36.25 hours per week - Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 5.15pm (1 hour for lunch). Salary to be discussed at Interview.
Conveyancing Legal Secretary/Assistant
We are looking to recruit an experienced Legal Secretary/Assistant to join our Conveyancing Department at our head office in Nuneaton.
Duties and responsibilities include assistance with all aspects of residential conveyancing transactions, production of documentation under supervision and transcribing of letters and other correspondence using digital dictation, maintaining files to the Conveyancing Quality Scheme (CQS) standard, completing and submitting Land Registry forms, dealing with clients both in person and over the telephone and undertaking general housekeeping duties such as filing.
The ideal candidate must have legal support experience working to tight deadlines in a fast paced Conveyancing department. They must possess excellent typing skills, be able to prioritise, multitask and have exceptional communication skills. They will also need to be proficient in the use of MS Word, Outlook, Digital Dictation and have experience working with a Case Management System.
