Yesterday, we celebrated our centenary milestone with a fantastic three course lunch at Leonardo’s Hotel (The Hinckley Island) for our brilliant team.
The afternoon was packed with fun, laughter and some friendly competition!
Highlights included:
- The LDJ Quiz – A firm themed quiz featuring LDJ trivia, a music round, and a hilarious baby photo round – with some very questionable guesses (who knew one of our Partners had such chubby cheeks?)
- Quoits for Prosecco – A bottle of bubbly was up for grabs for anyone scoring 100 points… easier said than done! Let’s just say some legal minds are better with contracts than coordination.
- The Fun Legal Awards – Our tongue-in-cheek prize giving ceremony crowned everything from “Legal Eagle” to “Best Legal Fashionista.” No one was safe, but everyone laughed!
- LDJ History Table – A nostalgic display showcasing old newspaper cuttings, past newsletters, our evolving letterheads, and a full list of partners through the years – all crowned by our first ever set of accounts from 1925!
Each team member also received a commemorative centenary pen and salver to mark the occasion.
Huge thanks to our incredible team – past and present – for making LDJ what it is today. Here’s to the next 100 years!
